BOLD Meadows (Bryan Obara) and post·rock (Xu Meng Qi) were commissioned by the clients to reconceptualize and redesign the landscape for a private estate in Connecticut. The proposal introduced a seasonal meadow, orchard plantings, trees, shrubs, and perennial gardens to enrich the ecological character and spatial experience of the property.
The project also included grading of the driveway, the redesign of the autocourt and the careful siting of future sculptures throughout the landscape, establishing a dialogue between art, architecture, and the surrounding terrain.
